Seems like every day, I have someone call me on the phone, wanting to know what I called them about? Apparently, sometimes when I place my phone in my shirt pocket, some buttons get pushed, and I mysteriously call people I am not intending. Is their a "lock" or app of some kind, where I can stop this from happening?

You can use the pattern lock menu>settings>location & security>set up screen lock and choose an option this will allow you to set a pattern that you have to draw on the screen to unlock the phone or you can use a pin

I use the pattern lock, unfortunately, sometimes I place it back into my pocket prior to the pattern lock taking effect.

Short-press the power button to turn the screen off. Or get something like Lock Screen Widget, but good luck uninstalling it.

I had similar problems where my phone would call people randomly from my pocket. Somebody on here suggested that I try the app called "Call Confirm." It adds an additional confirmation before making a phone call. It has worked great for me!

Would be awesome if some developers with the foresight to recognize poor design would fix this ....

If you don't want to be "locked in" to ThundeROM 1.7, you can do what I do and edit /system/usr/keylayout/thunder_keypad.kl with root explorer

I deleted all the "WAKE" and "WAKE_DROPPED" entries from everything except the power button. I believe this is the same thing that ThundeROM uses.

This makes it so only the power button will wake the phone.

But yeah, make a backup, and don't blame me :P
