Hello all. I posted this in XDA, but I am running low on time. My wifes VS910 is running CWM recovery and a custom rom called GingerVolt.

The USB port will work only for charging. No data. I have tried a few cables, and 2 PCs. All of which detect my own VS910. I have a "like-new" replacement from verizon. I have to send in the old one. I don't want to deal with them if they notice that it is rooted and rom'ed. I would really like to return this device to their own bloated stock rom and recovery. Does anyone have any thoughts on this with out a working USB port? That rules out LGNPST for flashing LG roms.

My own VS910 is rooted with Stock recovery and is running the newest Verizon rom (May 2013) called VS910VZB.
Someone thought of performing a nandroid backup of my phone and restoring to my wife's phone. But then it would still be running CWM recovery. But would a nandroid backup restore properly do a diffent device (same model). I do have to send this old one back to big-red in the next day or so.

any thoughts?.
