Can't Chang picture name in gallery on LG Stylo 2

[Android Central Question]

I have been able to change the names on pictures in my gallery.

But now, all of a sudden when I try to change the name of a picture, "invalid file name" comes up at the bottom of my screen and I'm unable to change the name on any more pictures I've taken.

What caused me be unable to change the name on a picture and how do I fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! When you're changing the name of a picture, you're renaming the file itself. Are you including special characters in the new filename? If so, and if these special characters were accepted before, then have you started saving pics to your SD card instead of Internal Storage? This might be the cause, because SD cards are formatted as FAT32, which I believe has more restrictions on which special characters you can use (compared to exFAT, which is how Internal Storage is formatted).
