I thought I was being clever picking up one of these phones before UK release. Did the same with my LG G4 and saved a bundle of cash.

However, although commonly available, it's not the international variant I thought it was as there are LTE bands missing, namely band 20 (800mhz) in the UK, which O2 and Vodafone use. So no 4G connectivity for me. Bit gutted as I love the phone otherwise and really wanted dual sim.

Looked into enabling the bands but looks like no root is available yet, which would be the first step. Anyone else made the same mistake or have any solutions?

Looks like it is extremely difficult to get the H960 from ebay - only seen one example thus far.

Also, the V10 has now been removed from the LG website, which is rather frustrating

We know that already. It works on Band 7 but most UK networks also use Band 20. For optimal performance, you need compatability with both bands
