How can I fix an LG V10 video issue?

LG V10 Video Issue

I recorded a video on my LG V10 and then used a third party app to upload the video to a site. The video uploaded labeled as a Gallery_File with no extension. It will not play on the site. Does anyone know the cause?

Welcome to Android Central! The video file is still intact and playable on the phone, right? What 3rd party app did you use? My guess is it has something to do with that uploader rather than the phone or your video file. What happens if you transfer that video file from your phone to your computer via USB connection, then upload the video to that website using your computer browser?
