    Welcome to the forums. It looks like the only variant that can be rooted so far is the T-Mobile version. Is that what you have?

    Both Verizon and AT&T lock down their phones. Root may be difficult if not impossible for devices on this carrier.

    It basically comes down to whether the device is locked down or not, how hard/easy it is finding and executing exploits, and whether or not the device makes it into developers hands.
