I bought an Aukey Qualcomm fast charge car charger when I purchased my G4. when I plug it in to my V10 my phone says fast charging. I recently purchased Anker 48 watt 4 port car charger when I use this my phone never says fast charging even though Anker claims to have this IQ technology. Is there any reason why my phone wouldn't recognize it being fast charged.

Probably because the charger is not Qualcomm qc certified. I have a few car chargers that say fast charge, but unless it is certified by qualcomm, they won't quick charge.

The Qualcomm is a standard of Fast charging. Voltage goes above 5 volts on suppoted phones. The Anker IQ is a smart charger but does not go above 5 volts. My Samsung Note 2 on the IQ charges at 5v 1800mA. No other std. charger does as well. Being the Note 2 is not Qualcomm rated, the IQ does a faster job. Now my LG V10 would charge faster on the Qualcomm.

Iq charge and fast charge I believe are two separate things fast charge is Qualcomm's thing and smart charge for whatever you want to call it charges the phone at the "best charge rate" phone can take
