Wish I could help ... I've been pushing any pictures wireless to my TV through Miracast into ChromeCast.

I can't imagine it not as I plug my phone into the laptop and can see and use any picture or video in it.

It requires a Slimport adapter SlimPort - Connect mobile devices to displays

Can be found on amazon or other online stores. Unfortunately the first one I bought didn't work so might be hit or miss. Definitely not as prevalent as MHL.
