the phone will not turn on or wake when it's sideways and the sensors are covered....

Try this... Hold your phone sideways as if it's in your jacket pocket. Then cover to top sensors of the phone.... The power button wont turn the phone on.

That explains why you can't push power in my pocket as I bring it out.

That sucks.

That's the way the proximity sensor is supposed to work. Otherwise you would turn the phone on and off hundreds of times a day in your pocket.

True...

But mY iPhone 6 allows me to press the power button in my pocket and it turns on... This would be nice on the v10 since it takes forever to wake up anyhow....

Also, the way the v10 power button is designed, it would rarely turn on in a pocket, if at all.

Thanks!
