Open the floodgates! It's coming!
Re: Verizon gets marshmallow tomorrow...
I paid 469 at Verizon. OF course, back in beginning of November took advantage of a promotion, so I received 300 for old phone, got some accessories and put balance on new phone. :)

I can.
It took this long to get a platform update because of the second screen. It's not really a second screen, but a piece of the display that's sectioned off via software. That made for extra work from LG.
Now they get to either update the WiFi calling system they have been using, or migrate to native Android WiFi calling. Hopefully the latter.

At least yours is getting the update. I'm on Bluegrass Cellular and will never ever see it. Ever!

I think it's a decent size cell, and I just can't believe the little second display causes that much juice to be used.
I've been running that Snapdragon Battery Guru too and also see no changes in battery performance. I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong. LOL

Now that MM is here I'll see how things go. I may uninstall if I don't see any measurable difference.
Re: Verizon gets marshmallow tomorrow...
I would recommend that you do a factory reset after installing the update. It seems to optimize everything and I tend to see better battery life.

Re: Verizon gets marshmallow tomorrow...
As hard as it is to be patient. It will take tmobile longer. T mobile has wifi calling, tmobile hot spot and other just tmobile time things baked really deep into the ROM. And it is probably taking alot of extra effort to get this done.. Patients is hard.. But be patient.. We have a great stable phone. Let them get this right the first time.

Re: Verizon gets marshmallow tomorrow...
Update is finished. The first thing I noticed was weird behavior with my fingerprint scanner. It seems like the fingerprint registers (quicker), the screen turns on, and then the screen unlocks. I feel like it was different before. Maybe it's quicker altogether, but it feels slower or the same (and awkward).

Yeah I know, I just got the thing and have it all set up! I do use Nova Launcher so as I have before I can back up settings and such, just don't feel like it at the moment! Lol
