Location turning on automatically

Running AT&T V10 and noticed after the last update that my location is turning on by itself. Normally I have it shut off unless I am using Google Maps. I went in and checked the apps that have requested it and the only thing I can think of (that I cannot control) is LG IMS. Any ideas?

This happens when you have Wifi Calling on. Normally the phone uses your connection when making a call to find your location (which is necessary when contacting emergency services). However, when using wifi calling, the phone needs to use the actual location services function in order to spot you and report your location. Hope this helps!
