    My T-Mobile V10 has had apps randomly crashing the last month or so. The apps that are crashing (like Phandroid, for example) haven't been updated recently. I get this message, "Unfortunately, Phandroid News has stopped." The only think I've changed is going from Norton back to Lookout. My phone has randomly rebooted at times too (but this hasn't happened for a month). Is this a Marshmallow (6.0) thing? Should I be worried about the bootloop thing?

    I've had this happened on other phones before, but usually just one problem app. This has been a handful (they work one day, crash the next).

    There are few things that can cause this but lets ask the obvious;

    1) Have you tried clearing application cache so center this started up.
    2) Have you performed a factory reset since the OS upgrade?

    Since these two factors can cause a lot of issues for applications after an upgrade I always ask these first.

    If f you haven't done these I'd try there first. However at a bare minimum you could also uninstall and reinstall the apps you are having issues with.

    If you have tried all of these and still having issues then provide as much info as you can so those here can help diagnose your problem.

    Also, based on what you have said so far I don't think think this is a bootloop issue just yet but it is possible.

    Definitely not a boot loop issue, not even a stricktly lg issue. I have the same problems on my Samsung note 2. For the last several month it have been rebooting randomly while in my pocket, and several apps that I use most have been crashing with the same error as op.
    Since my note 2 is getting long in the tooth I am considering upgrading but can't decide if v20 is worth the extra 300$.

    I've done both. My phone actually received a security patch update from T-Mobile today so I factory reset my V10. We'll see if I continue to have issues. No changelog on T-Mobile's Web site. I'll just install a handful of apps at a time and see how they behave.

    Good to hear. I was thinking about ditching my V10 before the warranty is up in case (and outdated security, but today's update fixes that at least). During this time I've also had my screen totally freeze/lock up, but the power button would still work. I think I've finally traced that too the "mini view" feature. I've toggled that off and haven't had a screen freeze issue since I turned it off on Monday (no app crashes either).
