Here is a new review for 2017 headphones. I cannot comment if I agree or not. It is just something to read https://www.cnet.com/topics/headphones/best-headphones/
Good read but only if you're interested in one of the ones reviewed.

well lets see what they're like. i ordered the X12i which seem really expensive to me at least but has got good reviews. I didn't want to pay that much but there isn't much to choose from if you want 50 ohm.
    Good luck with your choice!!

    Headphones.
A hidden gem and they are a steal at this price if you are looking for quality high impedance headphones for the V20.
They don't come with a wired remote cord but you can use a standard one or buy theirs.

My Audio Technica ATH-M40x sounds amazing. The most clarity from audio I've ever heard, definitely studio recording quality. They are over the ear headphones by the way and the only annoying thing is the cables included are very long.

Good value, good sound, but I couldn't deal with that coiled cord. A must have for me is removable cord with remote and microphone to answer calls while listening.

Would you be kind enough to elaborate on why you like them?

Are you guys going to be using with the HI-FI Quad DAC on the LG V20 to take it to the max audio experience?
I have no clue when it comes to headphones other than the el cheapo Bluetooth LG's, Bose and Beats....that I have managed to always tear apart. I am not a headphone savvy person, so any help is appreciated. Or if there was a thread already please point it out thanks....
For my bluetooth earbuds, I use the yurbuds Leap Wireless ($99.99 USD). While you don't get HiFi DAC with them, their specially designed noise-cancelling end pieces greatly increase audio quality. I don't rely on HiFi DAC with these buds, because the sound quality is astonishing for wireless earbuds. They last me about a work day-and-a-half (10.5 hours) on a single charge. They have excellent range as well. They also have a great remote/mic combo that supports play, pause, track forward, track back, volume up, volume down, answer, and end call.

I use the yurbuds Inspire 300 ($39.99 USD). They support HiFi DAC, with great audio quality. The remote functions the same way as the Leap Wireless remote.

The reasons that why I like Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Jaybird Freedome F5.

    1. Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 is built with an amazing quality with cables for both Android and iOS alongwith in-line Microphone. However, Momentum 2.0 are solid headphones and they are good enough for watching movies, listening music and even playing games.

    2. Jaybird Freedome F5 are good for people who are on travelling and sports most of the time. They come with stellar battery life and are sweat proof. Moreover, it contains in-line mic with all the buttons together and it can be paired with 8 devices at a time.

    Cheers,

I love Yurbuds. Im not sure which ones I have but they retailed for over 99. It's wired. I've had them about 3 or 4 years. If they break I'll be buying another pair.

I personally like using wireless earphones myself, though I know that won't suit everyones taste. I used the Phasier BHS-730. They have great sound quality for the price and are comfortable which is most important for me. Here is another good resource if you want wireless earphones -

Hey all, I just got the v20 and since I am in Canada it doesn't have a headset, can any one recommend a budget wired headset (instead of plain earbuds, need the controls) that can take advantage of the quad dact?

I am currently using the headset that I got with my used Galaxy note 4 a few months back (switched due to there being a very good deal on the v20 on my old carrier)...

If you're ok with a one button remote and not looking to break the bank, UrbanEars Kransens are nice.
