I noticed he mentioned tricking the phone into kicking the DAC into high gear. Would be handy to be able to do that (preferably without splitter connections and such) so I can get some more volume pushed through to my work truck stereo and overcome some noise issues. Note, it's issues related to the environment, not the phone. I've had issues on any device I try to connect to it.

I had the same problem in my work truck as well. Mostly with my XM receiver not being loud enough. I got this line amp with my points at a Pilot, works very well to boost the signal going into the auxiliary jack.
