Lag at certain times

I like the V20 but I have noticed that if I leave an app open and the phone goes to sleep, there is a lot of lag when it wakes up until I ca close the app. Anyone else?

I experience stutters on occasion, and I've noticed the camera app can be slow to open at times, but nothing out of the ordinary for Android or anything to make me concerned. Is it the same app every time? It could be an app that hasn't been optimized for Nougat yet. Also check to see how many apps you have open when this occurs. A clearing of the cache might help.

No. It's different apps. This is my second V20 and the first one did it as well.

I'll admit, lag doesn't bother me like it does some...I've had many a Samsung phone so I've spent my share with what many would call "lag". I simply haven't NOTICED any lag on my Vx0 phones, perhaps there is some. What should I be looking for? That it is not faster than I can think? JK, i know what lag is. I just haven't had any that I'd mention on the Vx0s.

Let me ask this, how much bloatware have you disabled? If none, I can't say that I'm too surprised that some bloat may be contributing to lag. They put a lot of stuff on these phones that seems useless to me.

Lag can happen in any phone eventually. An occasional reboot usually clears up any issues.

I do not need LookOut on my phone. For me, it serves 0 purpose but to waste resources and storage space. No, I have no other equally useless app serving the same purpose. YMMV.

I can.make any android or iOS device lag..depends on what you do and if the app is optimized properly

LG V20 at this time is totally smooth no lags in everyday common tasks

First I was experiencing lag only with YouTube from switching from portrait to landscape, but now my v20 always lags when trying to switch from portrait to landscape even when just reading an article on chrome.

I think I experienced a little bit of slight tiny lag on my older V20 earlier. It was neglible but I noted it (too soon?)

I have disabled some apps. Maybe I should do more. I'll give it a try
