Reducing screen resolution

Has anyone found a way to reduce the screen resolution down to 1080p like on the Note 7? I know this phone has plenty of power for the pixels it has but if I don't need all the pixels then why not try and save some processing power and maybe a little bit of battery.

I don't think you can on the V20. It's not in the battery-saving features.

Not without rooting and making some additional changes, but that also means other potential issues can present themselves. In my opinion, it's just not worth the hassle unless there's a built way of doing this that's designed to not mess up the functions of the phone.

Yup, but that only works on Games (and only if the game registers properly with the system), not UI-wide like Sammy phones. So it's not a full match, but it's something!
