What type of music do you prefer to listen to on your own awesome V20 DAC? I enjoy 70's to 2016 rock....I have been to over 200 rock concerts in my life......Everyone has a different taste
What are your own experiences?

Classic rock flac files with the Power Amp app. Jethro Tull, Steve Hackett, Kevin Ayers box set.

Smooth Jazz with the Google play music app. The DAC makes a big difference with the Google music player.

Music is music. A style, sound and rhythm for every moment, mood or memory.
I listen to most everything.. Except bad music. Haha.
And everything sounds good through the DAC. I would become one of those audiophiles, except this darn tennitus from all the concerts!

I have about 2.5 GB's left on my 200 GB SD card with most of that FLAC music. It's mostly hard rock, metal, and blues. But I do have some lighter stuff and some classical music.

I listen to a lot of post-industrial, metal, hip-hop, and almost everything under the kitchen sink except for modern country. It all sounds great.

Trance, dance, pop, 80's and 90's rock, and a very very very very small sprinkling of hip hop/rap on a rare day.

I listen to a wide variety depending on my mood. I was on a holiday classics kick for the past month or so. Back to my usual playlists now.

I listen to mostly oldies, rock n roll, classic rock, roots of rock n roll... Basically anything from 1955-1982 or so. Plus some Big Band and wartime radio. I'm listening on the default LG player because I can't find a good player with a good equalizer and similar functions that also plays music well. Shuttle Player came with a lot of background noise.

Where do you get the FLAC quality music from? CDs or online or something else?

If you have your music files on your computer, you could convert them to FLAC files. I've converted every song (that I could, darn DRM locks) that I have on my computer to FLAC using Switch Sound File Converter (I have no connection to the company). I'm by no means an audiophile, I'm not even close, but I like listening to music and I like music that's relatively high quality.
