Still feel my LG G4 shot better than the V20

No matter what option I use (manual/automatic) or settings, my "challenging" shots on the V20 still come out looking like oil paintings. My G4 gave me some amazing shots in the same environments (mostly concerts). I just dont get it. Ive been front row, back of house, middle, and they all come out horrid... washed out colors, huge halo effects, blur, while the G4 was crisp and clear.

Any suggestions at all? Love this phone, I do, and really want to keep it, but the camera just isn't working for me.

can you post some comparison photos?
My V10 & V20 shot better than my G4.. but the front facing camera on the G4 is better.

No way. You must have a defective unit. You shouldn't be getting images like that out of the V20. Please visit the pictures/video thread to see some great examples. Or simply do a #V20 search on Instagram. People are taking some impressive shots with the phone.

Yeah something definitely doesn't look right if your V20 is producing things like that.

If it's two different performances and or two different clubs it is not necessarily similar conditions. Only true comparison is to take shots with both in the same scenario.
Having said that, the first shot is bad.

Yes, something is up if your V20 took that kind of a picture. The G4's camera is pretty great, however. Are you still within your warranty period with the V20?

There have been reviews showing the same thing for low light shots in some scenarios due to lack of auto pic optimization with the V20.

Well I would not argue with anyone that LG's camera software for the V20 is not always the smartest in auto(especially in lowlight/tricky scenes) but I still believe that the picture should've come out better without any adjustements. But when you go into manual mode all bets are off. That's where the power lies and you can get some good stuff there. Manual no edits:
