Has anyone on here, have had the Bootloop issue? I have it and I hate it. The bootloop issue is a pain in the ***. I'm wanting the S8+, I'm never buying another LG flagship again. I have had a bad experience with the LG V20.

What exactly is a bootloop?

Welcome to AC.... If you have a bootlooping V20 it would be helpful if you could post a link to a video of it do it can be confirmed.

Even if it's true, any phone can have bootloop issues. The concern would be if it's systemic.

Of course, I agree with you! My initial feeling is based off OP's post count and choice of words. Its hard for me to give someone credit who comes out of nowhere. I would 'believe' it more if he was a regular contributing member. Thats all.

And not all bootloops are caused by the same thing. The G4 and V10 bootloop was heat related and could usually be temporarily "fixed" by putting it in a freezer for 5-10 minutes before turning on, then leaving it in there (this for doing backups and such to get ready for a warranty exchange). Software changes can also cause this.

If the OP's phone is truly doing this, then stick it in the freezer. If that doesn't correct the problem, then chances are it's not related to the hardware issues of the earlier phones.

The Bootloop issue is true. I'm not the only one having this issue, a lot of LG V20 owners are also having this issue, its not just the V20 having this issue, its the V10, G5, G4, G3 & G2. Search YouTube: LG Bootloop

I didn't change any software. My LG V20 is stock

Its confirmed. Its an known issue on several LG flagships. Search YouTube for: LG V20 Bootloop

Been there... done that... It's a known issue on G4 and V10. I found 1 V20 user claiming and displaying a bootloop issue on you tube so it's not a known issue on the V20 based on you tube. I have searched the Internet and its hard to confirm anyone having the issue. What I see on the Internet is a lot of discussion about bootloops.

I found 2 videos demonstrating a bootloop, and lots of discussion over one or two other claimed bootloops (but no video).
