hey guys i know this Q is super lame but its world emoji day soooo

how do i change my system emoji? or is there such a thing?

i have only had the V20 for 6 days coming from a V10 that died...and on my V10 i had only one set of emoji. on this phone there seems to be the emoji i use in textra and then every other app seems to use those ugly blobs. can i change them somewhere? i looked in swiftkey and under language and input. its totally no big deal but i appreciate any help.

oh no. it's brand new! seems like a lot of effort for emoji. but i use nova if that helps!

Download and install Textra and use it as your messaging app. It has lots of great emoji options. As you already know this won't change the "system" emojis but will for texting.

i love textra and textra emoji options...but i had textra on my last LG and the emoji didn't change between apps. i guess its an OS thing?

Yes sadly the emojis in Textra don't extend beyond the app.
