Two V20s two different speeds

My brother in law and I both have Verizon and the V20. We ran the same speed test and his test doubled mine. I had around 4 down and 4 up. He had double digits. We were right beside each other.

Shouldn't they be close to the same?

Are you both using the exact same server? Make sure the servers are the same, you can change that in the settings. Both phones should be Verizon branded as each V20 model has different frequency bands. There could be a possibility one phone was stealing the bandwidth from the other. It also matters if you have Verizon prepaid versus regular post-paid Verizon service.
