I want to buy an LG v20 alongside a 7days replacement warranty....does the bootloop problem start from the very beginning of owning a phone or is it a suddenly appearing annoyance ?

Generally, the bootloop issue does not appear at the beginning of owning the phone and it does suddenly appear (after restarting your phone). From what I have seen, the bootloop issue on the V20 has been rare. I've had my V20 now since release and no bootloop. I also had a V10 prior to my V20 and did not have a bootloop issue with that phone.

First, we need to ask which bootloop are you referring to? A bootloop can be caused by numerous problems, both hardware and software related. For LG, their famous bootloop problem was a design flaw in the G4 and V10 and has been resolved in the newer phones. Have any V20's bootlooped? Of course, just look on YouTube. But those are not the norm and there's no telling what caused it. There have been no widespread reports of bootlooping V20's. After you watch some of those, do a search for any phone and you'll likely find bootloop videos of it too.
