I'm having the hardest time trying to replace the batteries for my V20. So far I've bought 4 batteries from Amazon and New Egg that I was told were authentic V20 replacements. However they were most likely cheap Chinese knock offs since they can't hold a charge and last maybe a few hours tops. Hell, even one battery was a complete fake, when I turned my phone on it said invalid battery and the phone shut down! I even tried a third party battery and that didn't work out either.

So, where do you guys get a legit, real battery without paying $100 for the spare battery recharge kit? I've tried T-Mobile but they don't sell batteries, LG is out of stock and I signed up for alerts, but that was 2 months ago, and Batteries Plus doesn't have them in stock and there's no time line when they will be in stock at the two stores I've checked. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have had good luck with Zero Lemon, and Siedio 3rd party batteries in the past. Not sure if they make a battery for your device though. Is it possible its something else that is causing abnormal battery drain?

UPDATE: Looks like they have possible solutions for you if not actual batteries. Maybe time to upgrade to a V40?

I brought a spare from LG direct. Pricey but I feel its worth it because I plan to keep my V20 a couple more years.

I bought a PowerBear from Amazon. Fast shipping and worked really well. Accubattery said it was at 100% expected capacity. Would highly recommend.

there is nothing great about oem batteries, way too small and all of them are old by now with reduced capacity.

They rarely have them in stock but ARE worth it. All of the genuine batteries I have bought elsewhere are bogus.
