I recently did a system reset and it has helped Oreo work better on my VZW V20. One peculiar thing I have noticed is the Bluetooth icon in the bar at the top of the screen is gray and doesn't show it is connected to my Android wear. My watch IS connected as the picture shows. If I go into bluetooth settings it shows the watch as paired but not connected. Of course it is connected and everything works fine. Any way to fix the bluetooth icon in the notification bar to get it to show when it IS connected? Thanks!

I checked and other devices like bluetooth headphones DO show when connected. Watch gets notifications and. communicates with phone but only shows as paired never connected
I tried unpairing and pairing again but it still doesn't show that it is. connected .

I finally found a way to show connected but I don't like it. I have to activate connect watch as voice for phone calls. Now it shows as connected BUT I don't like phone audio coming from watch for all to hear.

Same behavior here with fossil Android wear watch. Seems like only some Bluetooth profiles turn on the indicator, and the synch profile is not.
