I was under the impression that the 836 is an unconfirmed rumour. Do you have info that it's real?

The 836 is rumored for the pixel xl 2 just like the og xl was the first to be widely available with the 821. It's pretty inconsequential given how well the v20 runs with the 820 though. The g6 performs extremely well with the 821 too from everything I've read on it.

Right, there is a rumor but it's based on one unnamed "source" speaking in July (for the Pixel, earlier rumor the same for the Note 8) - and there was no corroboration and there's never been any evidence to support it's existence.
