Half of what you knock the Note 8 for I can't agree with. Concerned with how long it will last? Personally every Samsung device I've bought minus a water damaged Note 2 still works. I'm typing this from a 4 year old Note 3, the S3 I bought in 2012 still works for my friend. Meanwhile LG phones are known for dying, I was a victim of the G4 boot loop, happened after 22 months of ownership.
You knock the Note for battery life, yet every single year LG produces flagship phones with mediocre battery life that can't match Samsung. I doubt the V30 will be better than the Note 8.
You knock TouchWiz and praise LG for their software, years of working Verizon and getting to use EVERY phone they both launched for 4 years I would say TouchWiz is better, and LG often copies features.
You call Samsungs dual camera a gimmick but praise LG for dual camera, for the average person a dedicated telephoto lens is far more useful than wide angle. Almost everyone is cropping their photos and losing detail, telephoto reduces the need to do that maintaining higher image quality.
You praise LG for having a 1.6/F Aperture, well big deal. It's paired with a smaller camera sensor, with smaller pixels, and is less sensitive to light than the camera in the Note 8.
I would compare your comments to other brands, but LG and Samsung are the only 2 Android manufacturers I've purchased, and the Note 8 followed by the V30 are the best flagships this year IMO. If priced right I would buy an LG again, but I will not pay the same price for an LG as I would Samsung because Samsung makes the better phone.
