Good morning,
I was wondering what, in your humble opinions, was some of the best headphones that you can get for the LG V30?
I'm looking for something lower cost, nothing more expensive than a Momentum 2.0, MSR7, or MDR-1A (also don't be afraid to give me your opinions on those three headphones).

I love my HD25's. Great all around headset, especially if you DJ or Produce. Durable, isolate sound great, great quality sound. One con is if you have them on your ears for a while they can become uncomfortable..

Grado is an interesting name. I've never used a pair but I've heard great things about them.

Look through the site innerfidelity.com

The reviewers write for Stereophile Magazine and do extremely thorough reviews.

Then, if you find something you're interested in, check used availability on audiogon.com

I have the Momentum 2.0s and love them. I actually got them for less then $200 through Verizon Rewards, believe it or not!

Strictly for listening or also music production/DJ? Over ear headphones or on ear?

I'm looking for over ears focused on listening to predominantly classic rock, heavy metal, and a small mixture of classic pop/rap. I've heard good things about the V-Moda M100's. I also love the MSR7's but I need something that favors rock and I've heard the MSR7's are more focused on classical music.

I use the 1More triple driver earphones. Awesome quality, comes in great presentation, case. Overall one of the best earbuds I have used. I liked the 3.5 mm ones so much I even bought their lighting version for iOS devices. And they do sound awesome with my V30

I have the noise cancelling version and they handle rock very good. It's a clean sound. The bass is distinct and not muddy. If you're a bass head they are not for you, but you will hear things in your favorite songs you never heard before.

Do they manage to salvage compressed audio files? Most of my music are, unfortunately, CD quality or lower, as I'm simply a poor farmer boy, haha. The biggest issue I've heard with the MSR7's are that they're so clean they bring out all the worst qualities of anything that isn't a perfect lossless audio format.

Sorry for the late reply. I was having trouble signing in..

I hope the MSR7's are the right ones for you if you go with them. I believe the MDR 7506's also cater to the genres you prefer if I'm not mistaken & are very affordable. You could keep those in mind also if you haven't chosen yet.
