    After a month or two of use after a factory reset , my V20 slows down. Despite that, it still runs circles around my V30 when it comes to contact search dial to search. Why is that?

    I dial 26229 to find Bobby in my contact list. On all other Android phones the result is instant.

    On my Snapdragon 835 with 4GB RAM V30 I literally have to between 5-10 seconds for it to come up with a result. After the first search, all subsequent searches are instant. But when you close the phone app, the next search has this delay again. Anyone else seeing this?

    First search. Type and wait 5-10 seconds



    After waiting 5-10 seconds, a result finally appears. So annoying.

    I just tried in my V30, and it's immediate. As soon as I start typing as few as two numbers, suggestions pop up.

    Close the phone app or close all apps and try again. Clearly from my screen shots there was a delay. How many contacts do you have in your contact list?

    Just did. Still worked immediately.

    And probably have 300 contacts, give or take.
