    I just got the LG V30 (AT&T) and I have a few issues. I came from the V20, so I assumed it would be about the same with the app drawer.
    I can pick arrange in alphabetical order (inside the app drawer, not the home screen), and they do not stay, if I download something, it goes to the last page, if I remove an app, it leaves just a blank area there.
    At times, my apps stop working and gives the error message.
    I also cannot use Google Calendar on this phone. It does nothing but freeze upon opening and is unusable.
    Anyone else with these issues?

    Odd. I had V20 also. Try factory reset.

    I was also told to try the package disabler on the app store? Never had to use one of those.
    I will definitely try that before doing a warranty.

    The sorting is not dynamic, it happens only once. New items are added to the end of the list. Deleted items in the middle will shuffle down to fill the gap only within that page of of the screen.
    Sorting again is needed to remove the gaps and/or sort the new items.

    The important question is where did you buy your V30 and did you get it used? There could be some internal damage that is causing this. Try a full factory reset and clear the cache. Also, update the OS and check for LG app updates. What you can do right now is try downloading and using a different launcher and see if there are issues.

    The phone came from AT&T. I have cleared the cache, but waiting for a full reset until later. The os and all apps are updated.
    I don't use any launchers.
