Dialling from abroad

Hi, I got a new V30 in the UK last month on Vodafone. I'm now in Ireland for work and I can't dial my numbers in my contacts without editing the number to add +44.

What am I doing wrong, is there a dial assist function I should be activating and if so where? I can't find it in my settings menus.

If your contacts are not in the same country you are in, you need to include the country code when calling them.

If you are going to be in Ireland a while, you might add a second phone number to your English contacts where you include the country code.
