    If I'm not mistaken, there's an app in the Play Store called DRM Info that will show you that information.

    I was under the impression if a device didn't have Widevine DRM you wouldn't be able to play Netflex and Amazon Prime movies. So I'm going to say that the V40 has Widevine DRM because I can play Netflex and Amazon Prime movies on mine.

    I should also mention that the V40 also plays the HD content so it's at the Widevine level 1.
