This surprised me. Did not expect an upgrade to version 12 since LG left the phone market.
version 12, march 2022 security patch.

ATT's website is almost a year out of date, so no useful data there.
Might check the ATT forums later.

Now playing with the phone just to see what changed.

Verizon got the update recently as well.

Cons:

If the phone is powered off, it now turns on automatically when plugged/unplugged.

Bluetooth battery reporting from my headset now inconsistent, making me think it's not connected when it is.

Phone sometimes plays audible ring tone when on silent.

Notifications in pull down shade now larger and harder to interact with.

Some Verizon apps now require the find nearby devices permission (zero reason for that).

Pandora's notification can no longer be swiped away when paused. I have to manually force close the app.

Pros:

None.

The one thing I hoped to be fixed, wasn't. When I reboot my phone, it always loads the stock music player into the notification bar, even though the last time I actually used it was over a year ago. Nice to see that bug is still there. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, every update is better than the next.
