I was comparing speeds and my rooted ics viper and my girlfriend's non rooted GB viper and hers was opening apps faster and loading web pages faster.
So I decided to go back and ICS uses up more RAM, you can't debloat and it is VERY buggy in my experience, I'll stick with good ol GB until someone makes a custom rom, which im sure we will all have to downgrade back to GB to install it using PandaRecovery anyways:)

Maybe it seems insanely fast and awesome to me because I'm not rooted.

I ran this benchmark, but I have no idea what it means, only that I see it other places.

It is strange how some seen to run great and others not... I guess it is the variability in the Google app store.

I like this better than before, but to be back on GB with Holo isn't so bad.

I'm just glad I don't have to

I used quadrant professional, you know, the $30 version that you are actually allowed to advertise with, and got 5000 on supercharged ics

EDIT: Can we lock this thread to prevent a flame-war?

I was having all kinds of problems after I manually updating ics .
I reformatted my sd card and did a factory reset.
I did a fresh install of all my apps.
Now my phone runs just as good as it did on GB.

I'm recommending that the thread be closed to prevent any further issues. This forum is small compared to other forums in AndroidCentral. That usually means that we get along. Stay civil ;)

Umm if your experiencing issues with the ICS update and it not performing up to your expectations.

REMEMBER to factory reset when your phone boots, your apps are optimized to run on gb, not ics. The factory reset will delete all of them so you'll have to reinstall them, but they'll become reoptimized for ICS.
