Can I use my at&t lg Urbane lte watch with numbersync if my primary phone us on another carrier?

I really like my lg Urbane lte it works great except I don't see numbersync under the cellular settings. I use project fi on my primary phone so I was wondering if I can use the at&t numbersync on my LG Urbane lte and have it show my primary phone number? Is it possible?

From the AT&T site regarding NumberSync:

You need the following:

An AT&T postpaid wireless account that’s been set up for AT&T HD Voice

An AT&T HD Voice-compatible smartphone

A wearable device that supports NumberSync and has eligible AT&T wireless service
