Are there any known issues re. maintaining root after a ROM update or maintaining root with Magisk that would transfer from LOS to a ROM based on it? Or even any apps that are known to not work or are suspected of not working well with LOS?
Specifically, is it likely that the Official TWRP app could cause root problems if that app is granted superuser permissions?
I've been trying to track down which (if any) app is causing root to fail after a ROM update (or after flashing any zip at all). Someone on our Dark ROM xda thread mentioned that apps with superuser permissions can create unforeseen root problems, and of the apps we listed, the TWRP app seemed like the most likely culprit. (Others like Total Commander, Kernel Adiutor and aLogcat Root seemed too 'basic' and way less likely.)
