Deleted a gmail account! Help!

I have two gmail accounts set up on my phone, and I have downloaded quite a few apps under both email addresses. Yesterday I deleted the older of the two from my Google account, not even thinking about how that may have an impact on the apps I've downloaded under that address. Is there a way to "transfer" the apps I've downloaded on that email address to the other one? Will all of my apps disappear since that email address doesn't exist anymore? If not, will they still get updates? Sorry for all of the questions, I'm just lost and worried that I'll lose the nearly 100 apps I downloaded on my now deleted email account.
