Is there any easy way to research what Android apps are available without a handset? If I go to the Android Market, it just seems to highlight a few and says, "For a comprehensive, up-to-date list of the thousands of titles that are available, you will need to view Android Market on a handset." Are there any other useful websites that list at least the mainstream apps?

My girlfriend has an Android phone (mainly on my recommendation), and I'd really like to be able to help her out with what apps to get for it. Otherwise, I have a feeling it'll be a while before she uses it for much more than email.
