Additional Info: I am the third owner; both of the previous ones have nurtured and protected this phone. The glass front and back still looks new. No scratches, nicks or smudges on screen or body.
I had this phone for a very short time when I dropped it. It was in a case, and when I checked it, it appeared unharmed. My daughter saw what looked to be a purple stain on one corner a bit later. After my son's concert, I checked the phone again. The stain had spread over half the screen and in that area, the touchscreen was unresponsive.
The phone was receiving messages, alerts, and phone calls. I was able to answer the calls using my gear s2 even after the phone screen had gone completely black.
Apparently, everything is working except for the touchscreen!
