Re: moto 360 wifi update Although I like my 360, I would not have bought it if it hadn't been on the "getting Wifi" list. If this turns out to be an "oops, we can't actually make this work" kind of issue I will be very disappointed.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying? I went from the Droid to GNEX to Nexus 5, but I've abandoned contracts and don't think I am going to pony up that much money for this iteration of stock Android when there are phones like the OnePlus One out there. Same goes for the Nexus tablet...

Absolutely they will "skin" it. No matter how wedded some of us are to a "stock" experience, there are few points where any manufacturer can set themselves apart from the herd, hardware, price & availability, and software.

Agreed. Samsung's appstore coupled with the Gears' device limitations have contributed a lot to the hate-on-Samsung vibe amongst a lot of Android enthusiasts, precisely because it smacks of an apple-y lock-in move. I would hazard a guess that Moto and LG are both going to offer devices that...
