Try using the "separate sound app" settings and send your entertainment audio to another device, such as a bluetooth speaker or wireless head phones, so it doesn't try to use the phone speakers. Navigate: settings/sounds and vibration/separate app sound
Another possibility is you could have had Easy Mode selected originally and when you went to change the layout, EM was turned off. When I set up an S7 for my mom in EM, the layout quantity was minimized for simplicity.
I have had the clipboard briefing disabled since day one after getting this tablet. Since you did a hard reset, everything is now back to initial factory fresh settings. You may have to resellect which page is your home and then turn off briefing.

the galaxy store is owned by samsung and access is through a separate samsung account. check the default samsung folder on your apps pages to find the "Galaxy Store" icon. my experience with the samsung+ was not positive as it increased battery usage
Try turning on airplane mode as well, BT to phone will have to be restated. I have been getting a couple of days on a single charge. I have also deleted all watch faces like CNN that try to retreive data w/o being the default face. Good luck.
