What do you receiving the phone that day have to do with anything. What phone did you receive that had all the hangouts and GV updates and the opt in message pre loaded?

It's not glitchy at all for me. None of my messages has disappeard. You can start a convo with your GV number in hangouts I think you may need to reboot your phone, I'm not seeing any of these glitches. The iPhones message app may function better right now, but it isn't the same thing...

Someone just gave this tip to me in a other thread. Go to settings in hangouts, select sms, then you'll see a "send sms from" option. You can choose from your carrier, Google voice, or use last number used". Posted via the Android Central App

Thanks. I went into that menu and I had three options as to how to send text. Via last used, mobile carrier, or Google voice. For some reason, I was thinking I would have on the fly options while sending an sms. Posted via the Android Central App

I got the sms pop-up the other day. It's integrated but no option to choose sms method. I'll keep waiting patiently. Posted via the Android Central App

Just got another update for google voice and still not option to choose to send SMS via carrier or google voice.
