I think you did all that you can do. Device manager doesn't work but you've changed all your passwords so they won't, or at least, shouldn't need able to log into your banking and other accounts.

I'm still with the LG G4 and I have no problems at all. I really like this phone and would probably move onto the LG V20 myself if I was in the market for a new phone. But I'll just wait it out for now. Maybe by the time I actually need a new phone they'll have the G7 or G8.

Re: How to get a nexus 7 out of safe mode. Is it in one of those cheap chinese made cases, if so make sure its not hitting the volume down button, if it is it will boot in safemode. Cut a piece out of the case so it fits better.
