It really depends on the ROM you install on the phone. As CW explained, if you want to keep Beats then go with a Sense/ICS based rom like RevolutionHD. Do not install any AOSP Rom.

The short answer is, if you root and install Revolution HD ROM your phone will look and feel exactly how it is now. Nothing changes other than the removal of Tmobile bloatware and improved performance. If you flash a different rom, the "stock" look and feel will be replaced with whatever style...

I say go for it! It's really pretty easy if you follow the XDA tutorial. BTW I got a full 24hrs on a single charge since installing the Revolution HD rom!!! That's a HUUUUUGE increase considering I could only go 6hrs or less before feeling like I needed to plug my phone in. ~EDIT~ Correction...

Yeah but without controls at the headunit which ultimately is what I'm after. Basically I want it to work like my iPhone did. My stereo does not have bluetooth.

This may be a dumb question but can I use a standard micro USB to USB cord as a way to interface my Sensation to my car head unit and play mp3s from the device? Also when I get calls is it smart enought to mute the music so I can answer the call? Thanks
