I was on the verge of returning the phone over this issue, but Textra seems to have solved the problem. I do miss having a number bubble notification, rather than an icon in the notification bar. Is there a way to get this with Textra, or is there another messaging app that does this?

Re: at&t only battery drain? Turning off Carrier IQ made a world of difference. It wasn't horrible before, just not great, now I'm getting the kind of battery life the reviewers talked about.

Never mind, I just realized the cover flips behind and I can hold it that way and still shoot. Great case.

Is there a way to use the camera with the cover closed? I find it awkward trying to shoot with the cover open.

I was torn between the two, but in the end went with the G2 because of size. it's big enough, and the N3 was just too big. I love the G2.
