You know what... I started my Android experience with the "Nexus S 4G" so I came into things on a pure Gingerbread Phone. The poor WiFi and poor reception on it made me leave that phone and move to the EVO3D. I've ran the EVO3D Since Release week... A month or so ago I rooted and Loaded...

Helps a bunch thanks... there are a coupel of other ROMs I'd like to try out. Sensless is OK... Didn't realize how much I didnt' really mind having Sense 3.0 till it was gone... :) Might just have to switch to Clean ROM. Any other "must try" ROMs? Wish CM7 was "mo ready"

So if I backup my current ROM and apps.... and I install another ROM. I cannot restore my apps? I can only restore a previous ROM and apps. There's no mechanism to restore my previous apps to a new ROM.. Did I get that correct? What the heck to folks that flash ROMs like crazy do to keep from...

So Ok, I get it that I can use it to backup and restore a current configuration. System / apps etc... Am I missing other usefullness? Is it possible to backup, flash a new ROM and restore apps and settings via TWRP? I''d love to be able to flash a ROM and not have to install app after app...

I just installed via the recovery method ... looked like things went well... but where is the app? How do I use it.... it's NOT obvious if the install worked like it appeared to... edit: Found it

My evo 3D battery life is straight awesome... Not black berry awesome but hella better than my old pre. Better than my wife's evo 4g.

the screen on the nexus was awesome... even under bright sunlight.... i miss that and that's about all.

Just ordred the Clarivue antiglare version for my 3VO3D... will report back when I recieve and install...

I tried the Defender, there's no doubt it will protect the phone from some serious abuse... If I worked contruction or something... this would be my case. But it is not pocket friendly. I took it back and went with a Pt Platinum case with holster and I'm very please so far with it... my local BB...

It is a kick ass phone.... I dumped the nexus s 4g for the EVO 3D. I do not regret it at all. The signal /reception is worlds better than the Nexus S 4G...

Screw HP... Screw the Nexus S 4G too.. tried that... EVO 3D here I come next week (on vacation over the weekend.)

My experience with the WiFi on the Nexus S 4G concluded that is was janky at best and most often unusable or at least unreliable. #1 reason I returned mine.

Dude... before the EVO 4G... the Palm Pre was the baddest phone they had aside from a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone... Plus the EVO Marked the advent of 4G service in the industry... lots of reasons for them to pound the pavement ahead of time on the EVO 4G. Not quite as many reasons to hit the EVO...
