Support Group for those switching from WebOS (palm pre) to Nexus S 4g

I returned my Nexus S 4g yesterday and reactivated my palm pre. I thought the device was neat, but 4g never worked, the battery didn't even last 1/2 a day (far worse than pre), the wifi connection didn't work in my house (pre did). I am going to keep using the phone I have, or switch to...

First impressions and Hands-on reviews go here! :)

LAG. I haven't even had a chance to check out any browser features. The stock browser has rendering issues, it scrolls really laggy. Basically, it is unusable.

I installed Opera and Firefox, both are FAR superior. I find the native browser unusable. Again, finding I am missing WebOS, the native browser for my pre was WAY better.

Support Group for those switching from WebOS (palm pre) to Nexus S 4g

Well, I got my Nexus S. Its definitely not as efficient to do...well...anything as compared to the WebOS. On the other hand, the device is so much faster. The screen is redonculous. I am not getting 4g in my neighborhood, which seems crazy since I checked the coverage map. Also the wifi...

I am dissapointed in the WIFI and I am not getting 4G, even though according to the coverage map I should be getting it just fine. Hmmm

The Official "I Got My Nexus S" Thread

Because the EVO is too big, has crappy battery life, doesn't have stock Android, isn't a developer phone. Why are you even posting this question?

I know there are other threads about switching from WebOS, but it looks like for quite a LOT of us who are still using the PRE because we were holding out for the right phone to come out on Sprint will switching to the Nexus S4g. I know I am really going to miss WebOS, and even though I have...

Buy at Best Buy or Sprint Store?

I had read in some forum that there are differences with insurance and support. Someone said I can't take my phone to Sprint for assistance if I buy it there... I don't know if that is good or bad, seems like both places hire people who don't know anything about anything and you have to wait...

Buy at Best Buy or Sprint Store?

What are the pros and cons of buying this phone at Sprint or Best Buy. In San Francisco, the employees seem equally clueless at both places. I have already pre-ordered at Best Buy.

I'm a total Nexus S fanboy. Ask away

Thank you for reply. However, whether or not it uses "gorilla glass" doesn't answer my question. I am wondering from someone who has one how durable the glass they use is in practice. "gorilla glass" is just a name. I have a waterproof jacket that I could take a shower in, it's not...

I'm a total Nexus S fanboy. Ask away

Glass Durability I am wondering how hard the glass is? I have a Palm Pre and it is plastic, gets all scratched up quickly just with change in my pocket. The Iphone, I am told, can withstand keys and change no problem. I'm just wondering if I should get one of those zagg screen protectors. I...
