This might be over kill but what I did was: 1. settings 2. application manager 3. went to geat manager 4. clear cache, clear data, force stop , uninstall 5. on galaxy gear reset in settings 6. went to samsung apps downloaded galaxy gear and installed 7. paired 8. done

nice got it working. After the new updatw few daya ago it didnt fix it. But... i found if you uninstall galaxy gear. Reset the galaxy gear. Reinstall galaxy gear. Pair it. It finally works! Soooo happy.

Boooooo! But at least the update makes the battery last wayyyyy longer!

yeah it should. But I think the problem is the note 2 and galaxy gear firmware not working good with each other. I could be wrong.

I am soooo glad I found this thread. It's the only thread on google I have found, nobody else has posted anything else anywhere. I thought I had a faulty galaxy gear, did not want to return it haaha. Galaxy gear is awesome, I know I'm missing 1/2 its capabilities with this stupid s voice gargly...
