I should mention that I do not have a computer (my Mac crashed) so I can not connect both iPad and Tab A to a computer for transferring data.

Well I just got my Tab A after too many years with an iPad. I have a Galaxy S8+ that I have been using for a few weeks. How can I transfer my contacts and photos and other data from my phone to my Tab A? Is there a way to transfer everything on my iPad to the tab A instead? Thanks for your help.

I did this and it did not fix the problem. Can you think of anything else?

Ok. I will have to figure out how to back it up. I have been using apple products for the past 10 years and am in the process of switching everything from apple to Samsung.

Will that delete all of my messages? If so, I have dozens of photos that were sent to me via text that I will have to save first.
