I've read elsewhere around here that trying a different micro USB might work. May be worth a shot, though a long one for you since I assume everything worked before 4.3?

So if I read right, WS v5.0 is a MD4 based ROM as of now, until the developer gets it updated to 4.3. Color me intrigued that you were able to do this. You rooted and installed the custom ROM AFTER taking the 4.3 OTA update, correct?

I regrettably installed the update zip before I read up on Knox and 4.3 and am one of the poor unfortunate souls in what I will call 4.3 limbo, wishing desparately I could return to 4.1.2. Anyway, I've been debating trying this method as discussed on XDA to gain root and flash the Knox remover...

Oops, you're right. Thanks for the clarification. Awhile ago I unrooted and went back to LJ7, but indeed that was through Odin. Then I accepted the MB1 and MD4 updates as pushed to me. @joeyv8082 - Apologies for the wrong info.

Im still wondering that myself, but whatever you do dont go back to 4.1.2 directly. Check this thread, thanks to meyerweb http://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=337213. I imagine you can factory reset back and work your way through all the updates until 4.3 gets pushed OTA to you.

Thanks for posting this. I installed from SD card (I'm currently not rooted). Below is shot from About Device screen and shot from Sprint's website. The version numbers are slightly different. Haven't seen any performance issues yet but makes me question if that zip was the right thing to install.

The Sprint Hotspot is an add-on service. You'll need that in addition to whatever your data allowance is.

You are right, the links you provided don't say anything about US roll outs happening as expected. But all three reference Samsung UK. Why does Samsung owe you an explanation on something for which Sprint controls the release on its phones?
