I also pulled the apk down ~google link to try it out. Turns out, I didn't really care for it, and as posted above it does nothing to correct the security flaw either. So I uninstalled it. Funny thing, after a few uses, it pops up a "Pirating WidgetLocker, not cool...let's go legit" dialog...

If rooted, freeze them if you are not using them... If not rooted, or if you do want to use the apps but just have them not auto-update, go into market app and un-select "allow auto update" for the app... You can still update them manually, on your own schedule...

Running 1.04 as of tonight, seems snappy so far. Trying do decide if I like the revised messaging or if I will load GoSMS back on... Still going to whack a few apps but so far I like it.

JD is one of the must haves IMO, one of the first items I bought after testing the free version... Well worth a couple bucks, along with Ti Backup, and Root Explorer (although you can get by with ES w/ root enabled too)

+1, other than ESPN (Which is EPSN issue, not Galaxy - it's just a poorly written app for Android - they probably just grabbed whatever intern was sitting at the desk that day and had him port it) I have no issues with notifications on the G2S. Coming from different platforms I guess people...
